Tamimunt - Naci en Alamo
Tamimunt - Naci en Alamo, Describes during the Spanish Civil War, when many Riffian youth were recruited by Franco to fight in Spain without any knowledge of what to expect there. The suffering of displacement, alienation, sadness and longing for the homeland, the longing for peace, but above all for the compassion of their mothers and their loved ones. It is an homage to the Women in general and the Amazigh/Riffian women in particular. This song is from the repertoire of the Amazigh-Flamenco project, which looks back to the Moorish Spain of the Middle Ages, where Amazighens made a major contribution to science and music. The Flamenco-Amazihgh project is a collaboration between Imetlaa and the flamenco group NL Mundo to promote solidarity, harmony and peace through music. This concert was performed in Goes/Netherlands in 2015 🎶 The musicians Imetlaa & NL Mundo: Mohamed Allati guitar and vocal Mustaf Ahrouch: Adjun and vocal Hakim Chanane: ud and vocal Mohamad Yousif: flute Erminia Fernández Córdoba: vocal Arturo Ramón: guitar Johan Frauenfelder: guitar and bass guitar Udo Demandt: percussion Special thanks to Ellen Blom
