Webinar: Anxiety in autistic people with learning disabilities
This webinar provides an introduction to anxiety, with a focus on how it can affect autistic people with learning disabilities, particularly those with greater support needs. It explains what anxiety is and explores some of the factors that can make it more likely to develop. You’ll learn about common signs of anxiety and the avoidance cycle. We’ll also introduce simple tools and scales to help you recognise and understand anxiety, and share practical ways to prevent or reduce it. The webinar will also point you towards useful resources and support for further help. With Dr Jessica Mingins and Dr Jane Waite.
