Fruit Juice Extraction Machine by FINIC in Sierra Leone

The multi Fruit Juice Extraction Machine is a design of FINIC – a small scale industry owned and operated by Sierra Leoneans. The machine can extract juice from 1 ton of mangoes in 1 hour. Same is applicable to pineapples. The pineapples, just as mangoes, do not require peeling but rather cutting into small pieces of each not more than 8 centimetres in length. The power source for the machine can either be electrical or an engine of 8 horse power to render it suitable for rural operations beyond the reach of the national electricity grid.
