Triumph Bobber | Home Town - Miri | Borneo Island

Changing things up a bit with this one. This video isn’t about the bike. No specs, no mods, no technical stuff. Just a ride, some footage, and a bit of a story. First time trying out a narrated format and thought I’d use it to introduce the place I call home — Miri, Sarawak. This is where I ride, where most of my time on the bike happens, and where life just moves at a nicer pace. Miri’s kind of in-between. Not a big city, not a quiet village. It’s a coastal oil town with a lot of history, and at the same time, it’s a transit stop for travellers from all over the world heading to Mulu Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage site. People are always passing through, and that gives the town a pretty interesting vibe. For riding, it works perfectly. You don’t need to go far to get away from traffic. A few minutes out and the roads open up, the scenery changes, and everything slows down. Some days it’s hot, some days it’s raining, but either way, riding here is more about enjoying the moment than going fast. Most of my rides don’t really have a plan. I just gear up and go. Sometimes solo, sometimes with friends. Food stops are usually part of it. No rush, no pressure. That’s the kind of riding I enjoy, and that’s what this video is about. Filming is just an excuse to get out and ride, and this narration is just me sharing what riding around here feels like. If you’re from Miri or Sarawak, this will probably feel familiar. And if you’re watching from somewhere else, hopefully it gives you a small glimpse into why I enjoy riding here so much. Thanks for riding along. If you enjoyed this one, hit like, subscribe if you want, and I’ll see you on the next ride.
