What started as Afiya feeling unwell quickly turned into something we didn’t expect. After days of stomach and back pain, she was admitted to the hospital where doctors ran several tests, scans, and blood work to find out what was wrong. It turned out Afiya had ovarian cysts, something so many women experience but often goes unnoticed or untreated.
