The Build Just Got Real... We Insulated the Van

After installing the wooden battens in our 2011 Iveco Daily campervan, it’s finally time to start insulating the van and preparing the floor for installation. In this episode, we take on one of the most important parts of any van conversion: van insulation. We add insulation to help control temperature, reduce noise, and make the van feel more like a real home on wheels. We’re still learning as we go, so this part of the build is full of mistakes, problem-solving, and figuring things out one step at a time. We also begin prepping the van floor before installing the plywood. This means checking the battens, making sure the floor is ready, and getting everything lined up before the next big stage of the build. We bought this 2011 Iveco Daily with the dream of turning it into our full-time tiny home on wheels. After fixing over 65 holes in the roof and getting the van ready for the real build, the conversion is finally starting to take shape.
