47. La Vie au bout de la piste.

After hours battling the snow, shoveling, searching for a route, and avoiding getting stuck in the mountains, I finally managed to cross the completely snow-covered pass. The stress was constant: if the weather changed or more snow fell, there was no way of knowing if I would still be able to get back down. But beyond this difficult passage, an incredible reward awaited me. At the end of the trail, I discovered families living in isolation in the mountains, far from everything, where horses remain the primary means of transport and where the hospitality is exceptionally generous. A tough, tense adventure… but profoundly human.
