Peratallada is a beautiful medieval village in Girona, located in the Baix Empordà region. Its name means "carved stone" because the first buildings were made by carving the rock that stood there. It is a walled city, which once had a fortress, and which still preserves its feudal essence today, having been declared a Site of National Historic Interest. Strolling through its streets takes you back in time, while you delight in every corner, each more beautiful than the last. A must-see, and just a few kilometers from the Costa Brava.
