The collection of course is the focus and purpose of a fashion show, but there are many components that go into each in order to debut every season so, in this video, we will focus on the set design. Set designers are posed with the task of evolving a space into a conceptual experience that compliments the collection and brings the audience into the beauty of the fashion house, all while remaining functional for the purpose by which it serves- to convey the vision of the fashion designer. This creates the immersive, atmospheric, and theatrical presentation that obscures the line between art and commerce for a moment of pure beauty, serving as a bridge to communicate the collection from the fashion house to the public.
