HOGUERA en honor a SAN BLAS | Alloza 2026

The bonfire of San Blas in Alloza was lit this Friday, marking the beginning of the town's most important days, with the traditional flag bearers and dancers taking center stage. It also featured a significant new addition: a mural honoring the town's traditions. The day brought together locals and visitors alike, conveying a clear message: "It's the best time of the year; it means getting together with people who no longer live here, so this is the perfect excuse to meet up," they explained. The plaza gradually filled up until the peak moment, the highest point of the afternoon, around 6:30 p.m., when there wasn't an inch of space left and everyone watched the lighting ceremony. Anyone who has witnessed it knows that, despite the intense heat of the fire, no one wants to leave and miss the moment. As time went on, the music and the hot chocolate being served next to the town hall became even more popular with all those present. The bonfire is a very special moment in the San Blas celebration, representing a deeply rooted tradition in Alloza and marking the beginning of a wonderful time together. In fact, it signifies keeping alive customs passed down from generation to generation. “Sharing these moments is unforgettable; the town is still alive. I remember my youth, enjoying these holidays from a very young age, and that's what I try to pass on to my son,” a neighbor said emotionally. 🌐 Full story: https://www.lacomarca.net/alloza-enci... 👍🔔 Like and subscribe here: https://bit.ly/3gCqV33 📲 Follow us on social media! https://linktr.ee/lacomarca_news
