This time, I'm in Yomitan Village, located in the central part of Okinawa Island. 😃 Cape Zanpa is one of the most rugged areas in the central region. The main focus of this day will be fishing. First, I'll use a basket to target small fish, which I'll use as bait for fishing. While I'm catching damselfish, I dig a little deeper and land a Gurukun, Okinawa's prefectural fish! Gurukun are often caught by boat fishing, but they also migrate to deeper areas near the rough rocks. With enough bait, I'll start fishing. While there weren't any strong bites, I did get a few small bites... The first try was a dud, but the second try caught a small Japanese sea bass.
