After finally anesthetizing the tigers, the process of meticulously grinding and trimming the toenails with a grinder begins. Since elderly tigers, equivalent to about 100 human years, cannot be kept under anesthesia for long periods, everything moves at a frantic pace. They say they must respond immediately to any report, even in freezing temperatures of -13℃ with heavy snowfall. They mention that reports of water deer and various types of birds come in frequently, especially during the winter. In the case of water deer, they run like arrows and dodge here and there, so it is common to trip and fall while chasing them. Since birds are highly likely to fly away, the person reporting them must cover the box immediately upon discovery. Depending on the situation, rescued wild animals are either returned directly to nature or, if their condition is severe, brought into the rescue center for treatment or even surgery. Since the goal is to ensure wild animals can return to the wild and thrive, those deemed unable to survive in the wild despite treatment must be euthanized.
