2025-08-04 The Eye of Quebec

Our journey began in Fermont and took us all the way to Baie-Comeau by route 389, with a special camp on the shores of the "Eye of Quebec"—the massive Manicouagan Reservoir. While the wind put a damper on our boating plans, it only made us appreciate the raw, powerful beauty of this remote wilderness even more. We also caught a glimpse of the impressive Manic-5 dam, but for us, the real star was the quiet, untouched solitude of the great outdoors.
