President Trump leaves Geneva | Plane's last trip as Air Force 1? | New Cadillac Escalades spotted

President Donald Trump leaves Geneva aboard 'Air Force One'. It is reportedly the last trip for this iconic Boeing VC-25A as the 'Flying White House.' We also spot the motorcade returning to the airport, and the helicopters taking off to become 'Marine One'. Air Force 1 on this trip was the callsign given to this very iconic Boeing VC-25A with the registration '92-9000' (it only carries this callsign when POTUS is on board). It is now being widely reported that this may have been the last trip, as White House staff begin posting on social media that it is the end of an era for this plane. The aircraft entered service in 1990 as one of two highly modified Boeing 747-200Bs operated by the US Air Force's 89th Airlift Wing for the Special Air Mission (SAM); to transport VIPs. It has served every president since George H.W. Bush and now 35 years later it is being retired. It is to be replaced by three Boeing 747-800 Intercontinentals designated as Boeing VC-25Bs. One of which is the VC-25B Bridge aircraft donated by Qatar as an interim to be used as 'Air Force 1', until Boeing have finished their build of the new VC-25Bs expected to enter service by the end of the 2020s. However there has not yet been any official confirmation from the US Air Force as to when '92-9000' will specifically be retired. Its sister plane, '82-8000' also remains in service. Also featured are two aging VH-3D Sea Kings that are operated by Marine Helicopter Squadron 1 for transporting the president. One of these took the callsign 'Marine One' for the flight from Evian to Geneva. The newest vehicle seen here in the presidential fleet however is the Cadillac Escalades that first debuted on President Trump's trip to Switzerland for the World Economic Forum in January 2026. These were being escorted by police back to the airport for retrieval by C-17 Globemasters that then flew the motorcade back to the United States. World leaders from the Group of Seven nations (G7), and invited guests, are meeting in Évian-les-Bains, France on the shores of Lake Geneva. This event brings in a huge number of security personnel, vehicles and resources from both France and Switzerland, and the visiting delegations.
