CRUCE ANDINO: 4 Buses, 3 Barcos, 2 Países! ⛴️ 🚌 De Bariloche a Puerto Varas (con 1 Noche en Peulla)

Today we're taking you on the Andean Crossing! This is an international trip where you can sail across the Andes Mountains, from Bariloche (Argentina) to Puerto Varas (Chile) via three lakes. This is an adventure that just a few months ago we didn't even know existed, but once we found out it was possible, we knew we had to do it! We began our great adventure in Bariloche, where we boarded a bus and traveled to Puerto Pañuelo on the Llao Llao Peninsula. From there, we set sail on a catamaran, traveling west along the Blest Arm of Lake Nahuel Huapi. The landscapes were breathtaking—hills, forests, glaciers, and snow-capped peaks as far as the eye could see! Along this journey, we passed by Sentinel Island, where the remains of Francisco Moreno, the father of Argentina's National Parks, rest. At the end of this journey, we disembarked at Puerto Blest, where we had time for lunch, a stroll, and to take photos with the Blest sign. We were surprised by the color of the water in this part of the lake, as it has a turquoise-green hue when the sun hits it. From there, we resumed our trip and boarded another bus that took us from Puerto Blest to Puerto Alegre, where we boarded another boat to cross Lake Frías. This is the smallest of the three lakes we crossed on the Andean Crossing, but it was a beautiful journey. The interesting thing about Lake Frías is its milky-green color, thanks to the sediments that flow down from the glaciers of Mount Tronador. In Puerto Frías, we completed immigration formalities to leave Argentina, and then boarded another bus that took us through the Valdivian Rainforest to Peulla. After passing through Chilean immigration, we walked to our accommodation for the night, the Hotel Natura Patagonia in Peulla. Peulla is an eco-village located within Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park. We spent a relaxing afternoon there, and the next day we went on a safari tour, visiting various tourist attractions in Peulla. In the afternoon, we resumed our Andean Crossing journey, this time sailing across Lake Todos los Santos. This was the longest leg of the trip, lasting 1 hour and 45 minutes. From there, we disembarked in Petrohué and boarded our last bus of the trip, which took us to the city of Puerto Varas, Chile. The final stop on our Andean Crossing! And that was the adventure: 4 buses, 3 boats, and 2 countries. We got to enjoy incredible landscapes and discover hidden places in the Andes Mountains that we didn't even know existed! The trip was a dream, and stay tuned, because we'll soon be sharing our return journey with various stops along the way. ➡️ Andean Crossing in 1 Day: https://gyg.me/AQNJ2gUY ⬅️ (To book with overnight stay, contact Turisur directly.)
