Getting Into PC Gaming #2: How To Choose Your PC Parts/ Components

UPDATE: 11:44 Whilst this is generally true for most CPUs including Intel ones, the new Ryzen CPUs using DDR4 seem to be particularly dependent on fast memory. As such, don't bother going overboard but get a decent speed if you're using Ryzen. 12:36 Here I mention that an M.2 SSD is faster than a regular SATA SSD. M.2 is an interface, not a drive. It should be mentioned that this is ONLY true if your M.2 SSD is an NVME drive. You can get M.2 SATA SSDs which are AS FAST as the regular 2.5" SSD (with the only difference being form factor). 3:00 This video was released before Intel brought out their Pentium G4560. This is the exception to the rule (not sure what direction they'll go after kabylake). The G4560, G600 and G620 are the only Pentium CPUs that have hyperthreading (though don't bother with the G600 and the G620). --------------- Getting into PC gaming isn't difficult, it's just that it helps to know some things beforehand.
