Ambler By Zentangle for Beginners
For Inktober Day 1, we study "Ambler" demonstrated by Emy, focus on creating a striking border pattern that emphasizes movement and flow. Use pen and paper to establish your design, incorporating organic shapes and lines that weave around the edges. For shading, employ techniques like thickening certain areas to define the pattern’s depth. Once you’ve established your ink work, use a blending stump to softly smudge and blend the lines, enhancing the transitions between light and shadow. This will give your border a polished, dynamic feel, making it a captivating frame for your piece. Experiment with varying pressure on the stump to create rich textures that draw the eye into your design.
