Former figure skater and sports science researcher Tatsuki Machida appeared at the 12th Satellite Broadcasting Association Original Program Awards ceremony held in Tokyo on July 21st. The awards were established in 2011 to introduce outstanding original programs produced by Satellite Broadcasting Association member companies to a wide audience and widely promote the appeal of pay-per-view and multi-channel broadcasting. "Tatsuki Machida's Sports Academia [Special Edition] ~The Physical and Mental Theories of Artists and Athletes~ Musician Kyohei Sorita," which Machida planned and produced, was selected for the Culture and Education Grand Prize in the Program Category for the second consecutive year.
