Candidate Forum: St. Petersburg City Council District 6 Forum
On June 2nd, 2026, the League of Women Voters of the St Petersburg Area held a candidate forum for Candidates for St. Petersburg City Council District 6. The District 6 candidates, in alphabetic order, are Terri Balliet, Linsey Grove, Trevor Mallory, Doug Homeyer and Jameka Williams. Clarification: Please note that the August 18th election will include candidates for the nonpartisan mayoral and city council races. For city council, the top two candidates receiving the highest number of votes will proceed to the general election. The same rule applies for the mayoral race, unless a mayoral candidate receives more than 50% of the primary votes, then that candidate will be declared mayor and the office will not appear on the general election ballot. (See St. Petersburg City Charter Section 5.05)
