2 Machines Down… This Will Cost Thousands

This week turned into a proper scrapyard nightmare. What started as a problem with the baler quickly turned into a much bigger job. The main ram had to come off, the hydraulic pump was removed and stripped down, and then we got the news nobody wanted — the pump is knackered and this repair is going to cost thousands. As if that wasn’t enough, the Doosan scrap handler then snapped a pin again, leaving us with two major machines down at the same time. With cars still coming in, scrap not moving out, and the yard filling up fast, we had to get stuck in and try to keep everything moving. There was too much footage for one video, so this one continues in a one-off extra video this Wednesday at 6pm. After that, we’ll be back to our normal Sunday uploads.
