ADEL
A film about Adel, a suburb in North Leeds. Beginning in the 12th century Adel Church with its elaborate Norman doorway and then on to Long Causeway with its Roman flagstones. I also find the remains of Scotland Mills where entrepreneur John Marshall pioneered his flax spinning method and then go on to Seven Arches, a magnificent 19th century aqueduct. Finally, I find Adel's lost village with its apparently haunted buildings. Originally shown on Made in Leeds Television on 9th January 2017.
