山梨・富士河口湖町「震度6弱」　隣接する富士吉田市の状況は(2026年6月27日)

This is a report from Fujiyoshida City, located next to Fujikawaguchiko Town in Yamanashi Prefecture, where a maximum seismic intensity of 6-minus was observed. We are currently on a street near the station, lined with restaurants. This building, perhaps due to the earthquake, has had its exterior wall peeled off and fallen to the ground. Some of the peeled-off material is scattered on the ground. Considering the possibility of further falling debris, the police have set up cones to prevent people from approaching. We have been covering this area since around 3:00 AM on the 27th, but so far, no other significant damage has been confirmed in the urban area. In Fujikawaguchiko Town, which also experienced a seismic intensity of 6-minus, an evacuation center was opened at the town hall on the 26th, and as of 3:00 AM on the 27th, 13 people had taken refuge there. Most of them were tourists, including some foreigners. The police and other authorities plan to investigate further to determine if there is any other damage.
