This Tiny Bait Caught a TON of Bass (Megabass Karashi Fall Pattern)

Today I went back to the Megabass Karashi, and the bass absolutely loaded up on it. The bait perfectly matched the tiny baitfish the fish were keyed in on, and it was hands-down the most effective lure I threw — out-catching everything else 20 to 1. I was fishing the Pasquotank River during the fall transition, and the bass were dialed in on super small baitfish. When the fish get picky like this, most baits stop getting bit. That’s when you need a tiny, realistic profile — and the Karashi is one of the best tools you can tie on. No giants today… but if you like numbers, bites, and watching a fall pattern unfold in real time, this one is loaded with action start to finish. Gear I Used: • Rod: Dobyn’s Sierra Ultra Finesse 700C • Reel: Shimano Curado BFS XG • Line: Sunline FC Sniper 6lb fluorocarbon • Bait: Megabass Karashi If your lake or river is full of tiny shad or minnows right now, this is one of the best ways to stay on the bite in the fall. The Karashi just flat-out catches fish when the bass won’t touch anything else.
