This year Shavuot falls out on a Thursday Night going into Friday. To make the food prep easier I wanted to share Make Ahead recipes that can easily be frozen Ahead of time. Shavuot Cheesecake Shavuot Cinnamon Rolls Shavuot Creamy Baked Potato ( Scalloped Potatoes) Shavuot Mushroom Feta Quiche Shavuot Salmon Shavuot Tablescape Recipes: Cheesecake Recipe: Crust: 1 cup of graham crackers 4 tbsp of melted butter Cheesecake filling: 400g (2 cups) whipped cream cheese at Room Temperature 120g (1 Cup) sugar 200g (3/4 cups + 2 tbsp) sour cream 150ml (1/2 Cup +2 tbsp) heavy cream 2 Eggs 2 tbsp corn starch A squeeze of lemon optional 1.5 tbsp Vanilla Extract Bake @ 350F for 30 minutes Lower temp to 300F for an additional 30 minutes Turn off the oven, leave Cheesecake inside for 1 hour. Chill in the refrigerator for 6 hours before serving. Cinnamon Rolls Recipe: Dough: 1 1/4 cups warm water 1/2 Cup Sugar 4 1/2 tsp yeast 1 tbsp chocolate liqueur 1 tsp vanilla 2 eggs 12 tbsp butter 4-5 cups bread flour 1/2 tsp salt Mushroom Feta Quiche: Pre bake crust as per the instructions on the package. In a pot add in 2 tbsp of oil 1/2 an onion diced 4 big mushroom sliced Season with S/P In another bowl whisk together 5 eggs and spinach and 1/4cup of milk, S/P. Add the cooked veggies and mix. Pour into crust and add feta cheese. Bake for an hour or so until everything is set. Alfredo Sauce: 2 tbsp of butter 2 tbsp of oil 6 crushed garlic cloves 1 container of Parmesan cheese 1 Qt.
