Philips 806 OLED Gets 8 Key Upgrades Including HDMI 2.1 & Anti Burn-In Tech

The Philips 806 OLED TV has received at least eight key upgrades over last year's 805, including HDMI 2.1 (48Gbps, ALLM, eARC, 4K@120Hz, Freesync Premium Pro) & the anti OLED burn-in technology previous found on the OLED+935 flagship. Other features include 5th-gen P5 AI processor, Android TV 10, 120Hz black frame insertion (marketed as "Fast Motion Clarity"), CalMAN auto-calibration support, four-sided Ambilight, as well as multi-HDR support including HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ & HDR10+ Adaptive. The Philips 806 will be available in screen sizes of 48" (model number Philips 48OLED806), 55" (55OLED806), 65" (65OLED806) and 77 inches (77OLED806).
