Reading Aloud Read, clearly pronouncing each word. Don't do this monotonously, but with emotion, as you would in real life, imagining that you are simply talking to a friend. Read aloud for at least 10-15 minutes daily, and within a month you will already see noticeable results. 5. Eavesdropping While walking down the street or on public transportation, try to overhear and remember a fragment of a conversation between strangers. Afterwards, try to repeat what you heard to yourself with the desired intonation, and also mentally picture the faces of those who said it. 6. Boosting Your Imagination Imagination is also a great brain exercise. To develop it, try playing association games or creating pictures like drudles: draw a squiggle and then transform it into a normal drawing. 7. Composing a Story Take any 3-4 words and create a story based on them. Ideally, they should all fit in one sentence. 8. Retelling The best way to remember is to retell it to someone else. When you retell what you've read to someone, you understand the text better and convey it in your own words. This way, it sticks better.
