POAH! Agromec 700 Vario Electric

This week in POAH!: This is the Agromec 700 Vario Electric from contracting and earthmoving company Groot Spraeland. This electric tractor was built in 2025 and has over 200 hp. It is based on a Fendt 720. The regular driver is Géran Pardoel. ‘Fendt didn’t have electric tractors back then, so Agromec developed one with a Fendt body built around it,’ explains Pardoel. It took some getting used to for Pardoel at first. ‘It is quite strange driving electrically; you don’t hear an engine, but now it is very normal for me.
