My Pajero has started to rev up poorly, and most often the culprit is the fuel pump strainer, which becomes clogged and doesn't deliver the required amount of fuel. To clean the fuel pump strainer, simply remove the fuel inlet fitting. You'll need a 12mm socket and a regular pencil to remove the strainer.
