Queensryche Empire - Guitar Cover by Janis Klinnert

Hello friends! So this is my cover of the kickass song Empire by the awesome Queensryche! This time I recorded both rythm guitars and the lead guitar for the whole song. Had a real blast recording it with my buddy Malte Suder who filmed and edited the video! And also a big thanks to my good friend Niklas who lent me his beautiful 80s Ibanez 540r for the lead parts! For the ones who are intrested in the way i recorded my cover: I panned the two rythm guitars hard left and right and all the lead parts in the centre. I mic'd my Engl Inavder II with a sure sm57 into Garage Band. I put a little EQ on the guitars and also added some room reverb. I'm pretty happy with how it sounds. Let me know what you think!
