RWK #13- Stanislav Rakov

Stan is a Connecticut-based martial artist with over 10 years of experience in competitive karate and MMA. He started training at Shaolin Kempo Academy at age 5 and began competing in forms, weapons, and point fighting at age 10. Throughout his karate career, he competed at major events such as the US Open, Battle of Atlanta, and Capital Classics, earning a national championship title. Inspired by fighters like Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor, Stan transitioned into Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and mixed martial arts. He is now an amateur MMA fighter and the Bantamweight Champion of both the Flex Fight Series and Victory Fight League. Outside of competition, he works as a youth and striking coach at FAA.
