2017 Triumph Street Triple R 765 - Bike Review, Jeff Ware

Triumph's triple cylinder Street Triple has seen massive success over the years, with the sheer fun and ridability of the machine making it a popular option among riders, with 2017 introducing the all new 765cc version, boasting a full electronics system with ride modes, switchable traction control and much much more. With three versions of the Street Triple 765 now available, we tested the middle of the line offering and found it very much follows on from the Street Triples of old, still carrying that iconic Triumph triple whistle, while packing more torque and power than ever before. Revised styling and a new headlight assembly continue to slowly carry the Street Triple closer to the original offering's round headlights, with an instrument cowl carrying the R designation, alongside the mini fairings. The R model also features up-spec suspension, Brembo brakes, a TFT dash and additional modes over the standard 'S'.
