The afternoon teaching focused on spiritual deliverance, the strategies attributed to the devil, and the various entry points through which evil can influence people's lives. It was emphasized that the Christian life sometimes involves suffering and perseverance, like Christ, and that spiritual maturity requires a deep commitment. Particular attention was paid to family heritage and the spiritual consequences that can result from the idolatrous or occult practices of previous generations. The teaching stressed the importance of renouncing all forms of occultism, even when presented as beneficial or harmless, and of seeking freedom in Christ. Prenatal influences and childhood wounds were also addressed as areas that can foster feelings of rejection, abandonment, or insecurity. Family trauma, recurring conflicts, domination, manipulation, and various forms of abuse were presented as factors that can profoundly affect a person's spiritual and emotional development. A distinction was made between psychological and spiritual guidance. While acknowledging the usefulness of psychology, the teaching affirmed that certain difficulties also require a spiritual approach grounded in prayer, repentance, forgiveness, and the exercise of God-given authority. The deliverance process presented involves several steps: confession of sins, repentance, renunciation of practices contrary to God's will, severing harmful spiritual ties, forgiveness of those who have caused harm, and rejection of any influence considered evil. The importance of humility, truthfulness, and perseverance was emphasized throughout this process.
