Sand Casting a Seashell & Diamond Setting

Sandcast a seashell with me! Sandcasting is an ancient method of turning an object into metal. To start, you will need delft clay, a casting flask, metal (I chose Sterling Silver), and a way to get your metal hot enough to melt into a liquid state. My method is using my little smith torch with the bud attachment and a propane oxygen setup. Please be sure to use protection when doing this project, as there are some fumes you don't want to inhale!
