Black Forest Germany Summer Getaway | Best Day Trip from Switzerland 🇨🇭🇩🇪

A summer weekend getaway to the Black Forest in Baden-Württemberg, Germany is one of the best escapes, especially if you’re living in Switzerland. It’s close, beautiful, and full of charming little places waiting to be explored. 🌲☀️ Our first stop was Waldshut, where we did a little shopping. 😁 Next, we visited Tannenmühle in Grafenhausen, and it quickly became one of our favorite stops. It’s such a charming place with a cozy local hotel and restaurant serving fresh fish from their own fish pond and one of the best Spätzle we’ve ever had. There’s also a lovely little playground for kids, peaceful hiking trails beneath the pine trees, and even a campsite if you want to stay longer. It truly feels like a hidden gem. Our last stop was the lovely little town of Lenzkirch. We absolutely fell in love with this peaceful village—it’s so cute, clean, and beautifully kept. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down, wander around, and simply enjoy the moment.
