Camellia sasanqua Slimline Avalanche will reach 3 - 4 metres in height, spread to around 1 metre and is very easy to prune. Deep green foliage with contrasting double white flowers in autumn to winter make this a very useful plant for topiary, espalier as well as for use as a feature plant. Small foliage and short internodes make this easy to prune and it looks great year round. It grows well in a humus rich soil and is suited to full sun to part shade in a humus rich well drained soil. Fertilise in spring and again in autumn and mulch around the plant to maintain a cool moist root run.
