Update 1.58 has finally left the beta phase and reached the final version of Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. After weeks of testing, fixes, and adjustments, it's now possible to clearly analyze what has really changed — and especially how each game followed a different path within this same update. In this video, I explain everything that came to both games, such as the new vehicle physics, the widget-based HUD, the Quick Information system, and the improvements to the Driving Academy, which made the experience clearer, more accessible, and user-friendly, especially for those who are just starting out or playing with a controller. I also separate what is exclusive to each simulator. In American Truck Simulator, the highlight is the rework of Route 66 and the new remodeled garages. In Euro Truck Simulator 2, the focus is on trucks, with important updates to models such as Renault Trucks T, Scania R and S, and Iveco S-Way, in addition to the first map adjustments in anticipation of the future bus DLC (Coaches). Another important point is the control, which is now 100% functional and sends a very clear signal that the games are being prepared for consoles.
