Havanah flash to blackbrook basin The Sankey canal by OS maps and sankey visitors centre

The Sankey canal was the first industrial canal in the UK using the existing Sankey brook and Blackbrook river finished in 1757 it was used up until the early 60's the last operators being Sankey sugars.
