Raven Steals the Daylight - Animated Tales of the World (Dir. Mihaly Sikur)

Highly regarded Varga Films production for Children's Television Trust International, originally broadcast on Welsh Channel S4C and later on UK Channel 4 sometime around 2003. Found on an old VHS Cassette - hence the stupendous visual kwollity and acoustic indiosyncracies - and uploaded for educational curiosity (meaning I don't own the rights). The director is Mihaly Sikur. The animation has a dream-like impression and is clearly influenced by the artwork of the aboriginal tribes of the Pacific Northwest. IMDB lists this as a 26 minute short film, so perhaps this has been edited? From the days when UK all-night broadcasting was something of a novelty, so without enough advertising to fill the dead air, the station identifier links could seem rather long. Thus the actual movie starts at about 2min. Also a tiny snippet of the revived Magic Roundabout at the very end, with Nigel Planer doing the voice-over.
