Building A Giant Cairn and Fixing up the Workshop - Homestead Zero - Week 5 - 2026

Welcome back to Homestead Zero! This week was all about making progress around the homestead. I spent time building what may be the biggest cairn on the property, stacking stone upon stone into a landmark that will hopefully stand for years to come. I also put some much-needed work into the workshop, getting it cleaned up, organized, and one step closer to becoming the heart of future projects here at Homestead Zero. Life off-grid is never finished—there's always another project waiting around the corner. Every board, every stone, and every improvement brings us one step closer to the vision of Homestead Zero. As always, Maya was there supervising the entire operation (whether I asked for help or not).
