[WITHDRAWN] Route 30 Perth Zoo Short Trips - Transperth Oddities

On Sunday the 8th of September 2024, the government announced that free passes to Perth Zoo are available for all WA residents off the ServiceWA app until November 30, which also include free travel on Transperth on the day of visiting. To cope with the expected increase demand for services to Perth Zoo, Transperth introduced new short trips on route 30 operating on weekends to ensure there is a consistent 15 minute frequency between Elizabeth Quay Bus Station and Perth Zoo. However the new trips are not listed on the timetables on the stands and a lot of the patronage of the services is simply people who are wanting to just get to South Perth. The service also reduces the usefulness of the ferry which isn't great, but it allows for an option which includes almost no walking to reach the zoo. Honestly these services should have been integrated with route 35 trips which are also a very short trip across the river to the Old Mill, instead of running as two separate buses just to split for the last couple of stops, especially when the two sometimes depart at almost the same time as we see in this video...
