Retired Metro Nashville crime scene investigator Jason Terry testified about processing and photographing the apartment of Jade Benning in February 2023 during a homicide investigation involving former football player Blaise Taylor. He described documenting multiple rooms and collecting items directed by detectives, including a drinking glass, bottles, and a comforter, while following standard chain-of-custody procedures. Terry also noted seeing baby-related items in a second bedroom, though not all items in the home were collected as evidence.
