InterContinental New Taipei Hot Spring: 1 Bedroom Suite Balcony 新北北海溫泉洲際酒店：一臥房陽台套房 #IHGVIP #IHG

Stay Date: March 2026 This was my first stay at this newly opened hot spring hotel in New Taipei, Taiwan. Although it has been open for over three months, the property is still undergoing several refinements throughout the premises. I was fortunate to receive an upgrade to a spacious suite. The room was truly impressive, featuring two private balconies, two hot spring bathtubs—one for a hot soak and the other for a refreshing cold bath—a generous living room with a large dining table, and an expansive bedroom complete with an additional sofa and table. It was a spectacular space to unwind and indulge. To my delight, all beverages and snacks in the minibar were complimentary. However, while I was enjoying the suite, I received a call from the front desk informing me that I would need to change rooms due to a water pipe issue. I was then moved to another suite on the same floor, just on the opposite side. The layout was similar, though slightly smaller. Still, it remained very spacious and comfortable—perfect for a relaxing stay, even if I personally preferred the first suite. The hotel offers excellent facilities, including an outdoor swimming pool, gym, and public hot spring baths. One minor inconvenience is that these amenities are located in a separate building, requiring guests to pass through the lobby for access. That said, the experience is well worth it. The heated swimming pool is particularly enjoyable, with stunning views overlooking both the ocean and surrounding mountains. Unfortunately, due to a government inspection by New Taipei City authorities on my second day, all facilities were temporarily closed, so I was only able to enjoy them on the first day. The hotel also features a Club Lounge, though it has not yet officially opened. As compensation for lounge-access members, the hotel provided a complimentary buffet dinner at their restaurant, which was excellent—especially the wide selection of fresh seafood. In addition, InterContinental Ambassador members receive two welcome drink vouchers and a NT$599 dining credit. Due to the inconvenience of the room change, the hotel kindly offered an additional NT$599 credit. Upon checkout, I was pleasantly surprised to receive two bottles of Byredo body wash and shampoo as a further gesture of goodwill. I truly appreciated the hotel’s thoughtful and generous service recovery throughout my stay. I hope the remaining property issues will be resolved soon, allowing guests to fully experience this resort-like retreat at its best. I would definitely look forward to returning again in the near future. 入住日期：2026年3月 這是我第一次入住這間位於新北市、全新開幕的溫泉酒店。雖然已開業超過三個月，但整體來說，館內仍有部分區域持續在進行細部調整與優化。 此次很幸運獲得升等至一間寬敞的套房。房間空間相當令人驚艷，擁有兩個私人陽台、兩個溫泉浴池（一個熱湯、一個冷湯）、寬大的客廳與大餐桌，以及一間配置沙發與桌子的舒適臥室，是一個非常適合放鬆與享受的空間。更讓人驚喜的是，迷你吧內的飲品與零食全部免費提供。 不過，就在我沉浸於這個美好空間時，前台來電通知因水管問題需要更換房間。之後我被安排至同一樓層另一側的套房。格局相似，但空間略小一些。儘管如此，整體依然寬敞舒適，足以讓人好好休息，只是我個人仍偏好原本的那一間。 酒店設施相當完善，包括戶外游泳池、健身房以及大眾溫泉池。比較不方便的是，這些設施位於另一棟建築內，需經由大廳前往。不過整體體驗仍然值得。戶外泳池為溫水設計，且可遠眺壯麗的海景與山景，景觀相當出色。 可惜的是，由於我入住第二天遇上新北市政府的例行檢查，所有設施暫停開放，因此我僅能在第一天體驗這些設施。 酒店亦設有行政酒廊，但目前尚未正式開放。作為對擁有酒廊使用權會員的補償，酒店提供免費自助晚餐，餐點表現相當不錯，尤其是豐富的海鮮選擇。此外，洲際大使會員可獲得兩張迎賓飲品券與NT$599餐飲抵用金。因更換房間所帶來的不便，酒店也另外提供了一筆NT$599的餐飲抵用金作為補償。 在退房時，酒店更貼心贈送兩瓶 Byredo 沐浴乳與洗髮精作為額外補償，整體服務補救誠意十足，讓人感到相當窩心。 期待酒店能盡快完成各項調整與改善，讓旅客能完整體驗這間度假氛圍濃厚的溫泉酒店。未來我也一定會再次回訪。 #IHGVIP #IHG #InterContinental #hotel #IHGOneRewards #Taipei #Taiwan
