2023 Australian Hillclimb Championship - What an event!

2023 saw the MG Car Club of Newcastle host this year Australian Hillclimb championship, which attracted over 100 competitors from around the country to compete in the most prestigious hillclimb event of the year. The calibre of machines and drivers was next level and vast. Everybody was out to win, and the battle for that outright top sport was incredibly hard fought by a number of open wheelers that simply defied the laws of physics as they slung around corners and propelled themselves forward at a pace I have not seen before. From the start, the goal was never to win outright, but a class victory was where my sights were firmly set, and maybe, just maybe, fastest tin top at this event would be a motorsport dream come true.
