Sky Burial in Tibet!! Sky burial is a Tibetan Buddhist funeral tradition in which the body is thrown onto a hill or mountain to be eaten by carrion birds, such as crows and vultures. Not only is the flesh given to the deceased, but the bones are also ground into powder, mixed with tsampa, a Tibetan roasted barley flour.
