This fragrance features notes of; grapefruit, orange, neroli, black pepper, pelargonium, patchouli and cedar wood. The resulting accord is a spicy, citrusy topped affair with an earthy, smoky backbone. This is a classic men’s fragrance that is inoffensive and well suited for year round use. This smells a lot to me like Terre D’Hermes. Mrs. Ruds is loves this scent because of its similarities to the aforementioned fragrance.. The soap is soft, but not as soft as a croap or cream. This makes loading easy, but overloading a potential. The soap is not overly thirsty, but handles hydration easily. The lather when dialed in has a creamy, milky feel that has the consistency of sour cream. Slickness with regard to primary variant is very good, whereas residual slickness is only good. Post shave is a definitive very good. After it is rinsed away, there is a residual feeling of softness, likely attributed to the Mare’s milk. Overall, this is an nice soap with a unique use of ingredients. Given the experience I have had with this soap base, it receives a ShaveScore of 86.
