US NAVY Chaplain Promotion to Commander
What an honor to be promoted to Navy Commander (CDR) and the icing on the cake was getting promoted by my family and lifelong friend and former commanding officer Colonel Andrew Wilcox (Bastard 6) as well as prayed for by my best friend and pastor, Jared Powell (Paradigm Church San Clemente, CA). My favorite part of being a chaplain is chaplain confidentiality...so that I can turn my ears into graves where people can bury their problems and begin healing. I am fortunate to be endorsed by the Coalition of Spirit-Filled Churches (spiritfilled.org) and sponsored by Paradigm Church San Clemente, CA. Fun fact: I have never compromised my faith in or out of this uniform. I am paid to wear a cross on my uniform and be an ambassador for Jesus. Ceremony date: 1 September 2020 Location: 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, Camp Pendleton, CA For more information on Navy Chaplaincy: https://www.navy.com/careers/navy-cha...
