VENICE - Faccia d'Angelo, former head of the Mala del Brenta mafia, has been convicted of laundering illicit proceeds traced back to Felice Maniero. Assets worth €2 million have been confiscated. The order was executed by the Special Currency Police Unit, with the support of their colleagues from the Venice and Florence provincial commands, following an investigation conducted with the Venice Prosecutor's Office.
