With an old fishing boat and together with local fishermen, we set off to discover the deserted little island of Santa Carolina in the Indian Ocean. What an adventure! We landed in the middle of paradise, snorkeled in the coral reef with colorful fish, and saw sea turtles, dolphins, and manta rays. What was once a luxury hotel secret is now probably one of the most wonderful lost places in Africa. What a day! In September 2024, we left our safe haven in Switzerland to embark on our African adventure. Our journey took us along the west coast with South Africa as our ultimate goal. Fourteen months later, we made it – we actually arrived at the southernmost point of the continent. There, our Land Cruiser was rebuilt and prepared to continue our great adventure.
