The Azores is an archipelago of nine volcanic islands located almost in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. In this film, we visit the largest of the Azores Islands, São Miguel. The Azores are the westernmost islands administratively belonging to Europe. It is an autonomous region of Portugal. They have their own time zone, Azores Time (AZOT) UTC-1, with a 2-hour time difference with Poland. São Miguel Island, also known as the Green Island (Ilha Verde), is one of the most wonderful places we've ever been, with a unique atmosphere that can only be experienced once you're there. Add to that the incredible nature and volcanic landscape. It's a vast expanse of lush greenery and beautifully blooming hydrangeas.
