The second model generation of the 4-door model now lends even greater emphasis to these hallmark BMW qualities. A clear increase in presence and dynamic performance in the design gives the new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé a particularly extroverted appearance. An entirely renewed drive portfolio, extensively enhanced suspension technology and innovative systems for automated driving and parking ensure unique driving pleasure. Compared to the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, the Mercedes CLA is 177 mm longer, with a 120 mm longer wheelbase, 55mm wider and 23 mm higher. Each new model will be available with both electric and high-tech hybrid drives. The first models to come to markets are the CLA 250+ and the CLA 350 4MATIC with EQ Technology. With a range of up to 792 kilometres, the 200 kW CLA 250+ offers a large radius in its class. The CLA 350 4MATIC with 260 kW is positioned as the performance version at the top end of the model range. The new CLA will also be available as a hybrid with 48-volt technology and an electric motor integrated into the transmission. The state-of-the-art combustion engine of the CLA hybrid will initially be available in three power levels. Customers will have the choice between front-wheel drive and 4MATIC all-wheel drive. The BMW M235 xDrive Gran Coupé is at the top of the model range and features significantly enhanced performance characteristics.
